Michael Cox

Michael Cox graduated from Villanova University with a BBA. At the beginning of his career, Michael worked in various Home divisions of Polo/Ralph Lauren for 10 years. Production management refined his technical knowledge of manufacturing furniture, fabric, wallpaper, lighting, and paint. As Design Director of furniture, he broadened his historical understanding and expertise in countries as diverse as Indonesia, England, Bali, France, Chile, and the Philippines. In 2002, Michael founded foley&cox interiors and in 2007 launched foley&cox home, extending the firm’s presence into the retail marketplace to showcase custom furniture designs, vintage items and antiques, as well as specialized products from skilled artisans.  For over two decades, Michael has led comprehensive interior design projects for clients in places as diverse as Manhattan, London, Monaco, Moscow, Austria, and the Caribbean. In 2025, Zuni Madera & Michael Cox became partners, and the firm evolved into MC Interiors.

Since joining the firm in 2007, Zuni Madera has played a defining role in shaping the vision, operations, and creative output of MC Interiors. Now Vice President and equity partner, she has led the firm’s most complex and celebrated residential projects, spanning New York, Palm Beach, London, the Hamptons, Hawaii, Monaco, and beyond.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Interior Design, Zuni brings a refined eye, intuitive spatial understanding, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her portfolio includes decorative projects, new construction, comprehensive renovations, and multi-phase family compounds, all characterized by a layered, editorial sensibility.

A member of the Design Leadership Network, Zuni is known for her thoughtful leadership and soulful approach to residential interiors that are as thoughtful as they are inviting, and as beautiful as they are lived-in and approachable.
